Materials & Manufacturing
Every design begins with a moment of discovery. The “aha”-moment when a vague thought suddenly feels clear. By playing with form and structure, concepts starts to emerge.
When imagination and sketches in notebooks are not enough, we turn to 3D-modeling (we are design engineers, after all). During this phase, we are optimizing concepts with regard to manufacturability, material usage, and most of all, aesthetics.
Using 3D printing, we are not dependent on external suppliers. This allows us to produce each piece on demand, eliminating unnecessary inventory and reducing waste — an important part of our commitment to the environment.
Our products are printed using PLA, a bioplastic derived from cornstarch and other renewable plant-based materials. PLA is widely used as a more environmentally responsible alternative to conventional plastics, helping reduce reliance on fossil-based materials.
After numerous iterations and optimizations, we arrive at the final product. A playful character ready to fill your home with joy, especially on rainy days.
